Apple iWatch Release Date 2015: What Do Experts Think?
Apple is pretty ambitious about the kind of technology that they have to offer in the next coming years, but what users really want to experience right now is what the iWatch is all about and if it is better than other smartwatches in the market. In fact, many people have postponed their plans to invest in a smartwatch until the time Apple releases the iWatch.
Reportedly, Apple had officially unveiled the smartwatch along with iPhone 6 and 6 Plus last month but did not mention a specific date of release for it. CEO Tim Cook had said "Early 2015" and now fans want to know about how early is early. Expert market analysts believe that Apple will try to release the Watch in January next year because they have already gone forward with the payment system and it is futile without the Apple Watch.
Apparently, Apple pay uses special NFC chip, which are only available in new iPhones. Therefore, the users of old phones will have to buy this watch for using the payment gateway. According to Time, Apple has already joined hands with major financial banks other institution to initiate Apple Pay and if they want it to kick-off, the smartwatch has to come in the market in next three months.
How this smartwatch performs is a completely different matter, which will only come into the light in coming months. Meanwhile, looking at the design, it is one of the best looking smartwatches around, way ahead of Samsung Gear and Moto 360. In fact, Mac World UK had recently highlighted some of the key features of these watches which include precise timekeeping, heart rate monitor, health application, gesture type keyboard, and many more. As a matter of fact, the three models about to be launched in 2015 are made in anodized aluminum with scratch resistant ion X glass. Stainless steel link bracelet or roughened sports bands are being specially developed in the Apple headquarters in California.
As for the price, the three editions will cost $349, $449, and $549 respectively. Apple Sport Watch is expected to be released in maximum number of colors, same as in iPod Touch 5 Gen.
