Catholic Comedian Jennifer Fulwiler Requests Prayers as Daughter Undergoes Brain Surgery

Catholic comedian, author, and speaker Jennifer Fulwiler announced that her eldest daughter, a sophomore in college, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is undergoing extensive surgery.
On her podcast, The Jen Fulwiler Show, Fulwiler shared the news, saying her daughter is currently in the intensive care unit preparing for a multiple-hour procedure. "We need prayers. My oldest daughter was just diagnosed with a brain tumor. This is all happening very quickly. We just got the diagnosis 48 hours ago, as of this recording," Fulwiler said.
She explained that her daughter had been experiencing headaches, prompting quick medical scans that led to the diagnosis. The upcoming surgery, scheduled for Monday, October 6, is expected to last between eight and twelve hours and will involve a team of five neurosurgeons.
Fulwiler is asking the faithful to seek the intercession of Our Lady of Champion (also known as Our Lady of Good Help), the only Church-approved Marian apparition in the United States. The shrine, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, celebrates its feast day on October 9. "I've been there and had a wonderful experience with the people there. That's the main patronage we're asking for. And that might change," Fulwiler said.
She continues to request prayers for guidance and healing during this difficult time.
