Fish Family Fest 2013 To Feature Big Names In Christian Music
The Second annual Fish Family Fest is set to be held on June 8 at Gibson Ranch in Elverta, California, and will feature some very big names in Christian music, including K-Love Fan Award nominees, Plumb, Brandon Heath, and winner of the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award, For King & Country. Other artists performing at the festival include The Afters, The Reel, and Christian Hip-hop artist, Transparent.
The festival takes place through 103.9 The Fish, a Christian music radio station out of Sacramento, California, and will be presented by Fox 40, Bridgeway Christian Church and Northwest University. In addition to the performing artists, Lance Hahn, Senior Pastor at Bridgeway Christian Church, will also be speaking at the event.
The Fish Family Fest features musical performances, VIP ticket options, vendors, activities, gourment foods and even a special Kids Zone, which includes a waterslide, bounce house, go-karts and games on wheels. Other amenities include an on-site ATM, a big screen and roaming KIA cam and attractions such as the 'Epic Bible College Prayer Tent' or the 'Damascus Road Pavilion.'
The event runs from 12 p.m.- 6 p.m. on June 8, however, the gates will open at around 10:30 am. Parking costs $10 per car and tickets cost $15 for adults over the age of 12, with one dollar from each ticket being donated to Courage Worldwide, an organization that works to rescue girls from human trafficking. Tickets may be purchased at the gates or in advance, although online ticket sales end at 6 p.m. on June 7.
The order of performing artists at the event are expected to be: Transparent, The Reel, Plumb, For King & Country, The Afters, and Brandon Heath, closing the show (according to the 103.9 The Fishwebsite).
On June 1, 103.9 The Fish tweeted about a promotion that they are doing for the event saying, "Win hangout time with @BrandonHeath, @TheAfters, @Plumb Artists, @4KingandCountry- tweet #1039FishFest tag."
Plumb and For King and Country were able to spend some time together briefly during this past weekend's first annual K-Love Fan Awards. On June 3, 103.9 The Fish tweeted, "@4kingandcountry and @Plumb Artist- you guys will be seeing each other again real soon- this Saturday in fact!
