'Married at First Sight' Season 2 Cast: To Stay Together or To Have A Divorce?
Experimental reality series "Married at First Sight" has been renewed for a second season, as it raked almost a million viewers on its last episode. Based on a Danish show with the same format, it received mixed reviews from its viewers due to the uncommon arrangements.
The cast will be paired up by experts, and will be married during the first time that they meet, live together for six weeks, and make a decision on whether they choose to continue staying together or to have a divorce.
Viewers watched on to see that two couples chose to stay together, while the other couple decided on divorcing. According to FYI President Jana Bennett, the show was successful and appealed to the viewers, leading them to conclude that a season 2 has to be produced. The second season is set to be aired next year with an entirely new cast that avid viewers will have to follow.
Currently, its executive producers are casting six singles for the next season. Season 1's couples will not be included in the show, as their time with it is over.
If interested to be cast in the show, you may apply by going to company's website and filling-up the form found on the website. Surely, there are thousands of applicants who wish to join the show, but as has been stated, only six would be lucky to be part of the show.
Getting into the show would either be a good or bad thing, as the cast would be married to their chosen pair without really knowing the other. That being said, it is a risky situation wherein the couple would either go on with their marriage or simply divorce.
Do note that the couples that join the show would be legally married, and that they will have to go through the legalities of a divorce if they wish to discontinue with their marriage.
