Gaither Productions Hosts Landmark Homecoming Taping With Over 270 Artists

On Tuesday, September 16th, Gaither Productions brought together more than 270 artists for a historic Gaither Homecoming taping, marking one of the largest gatherings in the organization's history. The event celebrated the enduring impact of gospel music while spotlighting emerging talent from Christian, Gospel, and Country genres.
Hosted by gospel icons Bill and Gloria Gaither, the all-day production featured some of the most respected names in the industry alongside rising stars, including Tasha Cobbs Leonard, The Gaither Vocal Band, The Oak Ridge Boys, Rhonda Vincent, David Phelps, Jordan Smith, Chris Blue, Mark Wills, Lynda Randle, Mark Lowry, The Isaacs, Jason Crabb, and many others. The taping took place at TBN Studios in Hendersonville, TN, and the special will premiere in 2026 on television, digital platforms, DVD, and streaming on Gaither TV+.
Among the music highlights was an acapella rendition of "Amazing Grace" led by Sonya Isaacs. In a moving tribute to the late Squire Parsons, his son Sam Parsons joined the Homecoming group for a heartfelt performance of "Sweet Beulah Land."
"To see over 270 artists, from pioneers to new voices, stand shoulder to shoulder in worship was overwhelming," said Bill Gaither. "We're not just passing the torch; we're carrying it together."
Standout moments included Chris Blue, Jason Crabb, and Angie Primm leading the audience through a powerful rendition of "I Go to the Rock," accompanied by a special spoken-word segment from Bill Gaither. Additionally, the Crabb Family shared the stage in a rare and memorable reunion, delivering performances that honored their enduring legacy.
The taping also featured several new arrangements, first-time collaborations, and special acoustic moments, demonstrating the Homecoming series' ongoing commitment to innovation while honoring its storied history.
The upcoming untitled Gaither Homecoming special will be released as an audio, DVD, and television event in 2026, available across all major streaming platforms, Gaither TV+, and broadcast television networks, allowing fans worldwide to experience this unprecedented gathering of gospel music talent.
