The release of the nexus 8 could happen any time soon as its certification is going through currently. The new certification has made it clear that HTC would be in charge of manufacturing the upcoming Android tablet. The release of the new Nexus tablet was expected to happen sometime in July but since it did not happen, it is rumored that the new Nexus 8 will be released later in the year.

The new certification has revealed that HTC will be in partnership with Google for the next Nexus tablet. In the recent past, Google has been in a partnership with Asus for the Nexus tablets like the Nexus 7 and Nexus 7 2013. Based on the rumors about the Nexus 8, it will have an 8.9-inch screen and it will be marketed as a powerful tablet. The Nexus 8 will probably have a 2048*1440 pixel screen resolution and 221 DPI. It might also feature a 2GB RAM and a Tegra K1 processor. Whatever the release date is, the Nexus 8 has been given a lot of attention especially knowing that HTC does not have a lot of experience in manufacturing tablets. It is eagerly waited for by the tech and gadget junkies.

The tablet will also come with the new Android L later this year, may be on October. If it were to be released earlier than that, it would come with Android 4.4.4.  The tablet might also cost a good amount of cash. It is speculated that the new tablet will have a high price. Ever since the iPhone 5S came with a 64-bit processor as the set standard, the feature has become a must-have for any new device. Regardless of the rumors and specifications, the exact Nexus 8 release date is unknown until an official announcement will be given.
