Sherwin Gardner's "Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me)" Reaches 2 Billion TikTok Views

The Caribbean's global gospel ambassador, Sherwin Gardner, has reached a new milestone. The charismatic vocalist recently was surprised with the big news during his new album release event at the Bahamas Harvest Church in Nassau, Bahamas. During the packed event, Tyscot Records A&R Director Claudius Craig joined Sherwin Gardner, Gardner's mother Rev. Merle Gardner and Gardner's wife Dr. Kristen Darville-Gardner on stage to present him with a plaque celebrating the worldwide success of "Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me)." The plaque recognized the song for over 2 billion TikTok views and 30 million digital streams. Link: https://sherwingfmeep.lnk.to/vRF7Xo
Gardner, a Trinidad & Tobago native, moved to the Bahamas in 2019 where he has remained faithful to his calling to gospel ministry despite offers to record secular music over the years. The last year of success on the world stage has been an inspiration to aspiring artists throughout the Caribbean that they too can be successful if they hone their talent and remain faithful to their calling.
The Afrobeat was originally released in January 2024 when it became a surprise viral hit on TikTok. The infectious tune received celebrity shout-outs from the likes of Alicia Keys, influencer Tabitha Brown and Yolanda Adams, among others. Since its release, the song has charted on six Billboard Magazine charts, including the World Digital Songs (peaked at No. 7) and the Gospel Digital Songschart where it peaked at No. 2. Gardner has since released a variety of remixes of the song, including mixes with Christian Pop star Megan Woods and Kenyan Pop star Bien.
Gardner's recent launch party at the Bahamas Harvest Church was to celebrate the release of two new six-track albums, Find Me Here and Find Me Here Vol. 2. "My Blessing" from the former and "Up from Here" from the latter, have already begun to take off on digital music platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify. Gardner's career can be tracked back to the 1990s when he started recording. After a series of past hits such as "I Worship You", "Leaning (Lion of Zion)" and "Because of You," Gardner is enjoying his best year of his career thanks to "Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me)." As a result of the song's incredible success, Gardner earned a nomination as International Artist of the Year at the Premier Gospel Awards in London, and a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Caribbean Music Awards in New York City. He was named the Reggae Gospel Artist of the Year by the Kingdom Choice Music Awards. The Antigua & Barbuda Gospel Music Awards proclaimed "Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me)" as Inspirational Song of the Year. Then, the AStepFWD Awards in the United Kingdom nominated him as Inspirational Artist of the Year alongside CeCe Winans, Maverick City Music, Tim Godfrey and Brandon Lake.
