US Drinking Age Hoax: One Can’t Help But Wonder With How Persistent This Claim Is, Could There Be Some Truth In It Or is It All False

US Drinking Age Hoax: One Can't Help But Wonder With How Persistent This Claim Is, Could There Be Some Truth In It Or is It All False
It seems like the hoax about the US drinking age is far from gone from the World Wide Web and people are still falling for the prank. Barely weeks after the first hoax was posted in the internet saying that the legal age was going to be changed to 25 there are new claims that there are plans to indeed raise the drinking age to 25 and that this will begin in August this year.
Now there has been over 9 million views of the said update in the internet and it has gone viral with people still believing in the hoax. This is crazy because even after it was announced that the whole story was false people are still talking about it and still believing in it.
This hoax was posted by the Sunday Times Daily, which is a mock news website, with a short announcement saying that the change of the legal drinking age would begin in August. What is also surprising is that the very same website posted the previous hoax about the legal drinking age being changed to 25 and later claiming that they were only joking about it and now they are back claiming that their previous hoax is indeed true and will begin in August.
People should seriously stop believing in whatever they read from this site. The website has been known for posting false information before and also allowing people to post their own updates.
The fake story was convincing however, since the link included an ABC News logo with a short statement that read
"As of August 2, 2014 legal age to drink will be 25. There has been controversy whether 21 is too young to make decisions. A lot of citizens state at that age they are not mentally responsible to drink. So the legislation at the White House has come to an agreement to have legal age changed to 25."
We hope people will stop believing in it and that they will all realize that it is all a lie.
