Billy Graham Coming Out With Last Book "Where I Am: Heaven, Eternity, and Our Life Beyond'

96 year-old evangelist Billy Graham may no longer be preaching or touring in his huge crusades, but he's still writing. Coming on September 29 is his 33nd and his last book "Where I Am: Heaven, Eternity, and Our Life Beyond." His former book, The Reason for My Hope, came out in 2013 and is credited with sparking over hundreds of decisions for Christ.
In a statement released on Facebook, Franklin Graham, a popular social commenter and the president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, shared some details about the upcoming book. "It was great to be able to visit my father this weekend at his home," Graham writes. "He has a new book coming out the end of September that he started working on before his 95th birthday."
"He said, 'When I die, tell others that I've gone to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - that's where I am.' Jesus Himself said, 'Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. ... I go to prepare a place for you. ... I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also' (John 14:1-3)."
Graham was a spiritual adviser to several American presidents; he was particularly close to Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson (who was considered to be one of Graham's closest friends) and Richard Nixon. He insisted on integration for his revivals and crusades in 1953 and invited Martin Luther King, Jr. to preach jointly at a revival in New York City in 1957. Graham bailed King out of jail in the 1960s when King was arrested in demonstrations.
Graham operates a variety of media and publishing outlets. According to his staff, more than 3.2 million people have responded to the invitation at Billy Graham Crusades to "accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior". As of 2008, Graham's estimated lifetime audience, including radio and television broadcasts, topped 2.2 billion.
Graham has repeatedly been on Gallup's list of most admired men and women. He has appeared on the list 55 times since 1955 (including 49 consecutive years), more than any other individual in the world.
