'The Vampire Diaries' Update: Elena's Party, Series Crossover Reveal, and Star Romance

Episode three of season 6 of the hit series "The Vampire Diaries" reveals that Elena invites some people to her swimming hole party, according to Ksitetv.

Stefan constrains his boss to dispose of Ivy's body and demands a raise when he comes back from slaying Enzo. Elena invites Liam so that he can be introduced to Caroline. Stefan and Elena also catch up after the loss of Bonnie and Damon. Damon meets a mysterious being named Kai. He is stuck with them. Kai wanted to kill Damon and stabs Damon with an umbrella. Bonnie arrives and rescues Damon. Surprisingly, Bonnie regains her powers. Shen then traps Kai in a ring of fire. It also appears that Caroline has feelings for Stefan.

"The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" will be having a crossover episode in this season, as per executive producer Julie Plec in her statement in the Entertainment Weekly. "It looks like we are going to be able to do a crossover in the first half of the season, and I can't feel you what or who or when because it hasn't been shot yet, but things are looking good," Plec said. The crossover will not concentrate on Alaric that much. Plec, however, revealed that it might happen in the future.

Meanwhile, the romance between actor Ian Somerhalder and actress Nikki Reed stirred up the fans excitement.

The couple are definitely in love and currently enjoying their relationship, according to Hollywood Life. Hollywood Life also reveals that the actor posted an image with his special lady and his two dogs last Oct. 8. Also, Ian and Nikki are going to raise their relationship to the next level. It was also noted that Reed filed for divorce from her husband last May 2014. According to the International Business Times, Ian has fully moved on from his former partner and "The Vampire Diaries" co-star, Nina Dobrev. The couple adopted a horse last September. Now, Nikki and Ian are going to take care of a homeless kitten. She made a post via Instagram last Oct. 17.
