All-New Episode 'UTOPIA' Latest News, Alerts, Updates, Spoilers: The Birth of a New Society?
A new society, will it survive? For the participants, learning how to survive is NOT an option, they HAVE to survive AND 'build a new society'. And what are the 'ingredients' of this "UTOPIA" community? According to BroadwayWorld, they are:
- Fifteen participants from all walks of life
- Five acres of back country
- 123 concealed cameras
- Meager replenishments
- NO bathrooms
- No government ; No rules ; No religion
- Unscripted ; anything goes
- 365 days challenge
Fifteen participants were carefully selected to join "UTOPIA". Among them are an ex-con, a soon-to-be mother, a lawyer, a behavior specialist, a preacher and a contractor. They have to show their survival instincts, durability and improvisation know-how. All the participants will have to make tough decisions. "UTOPIA" will not only challenge them physically, but emotionally, mentally and spiritually as well.
Joining "UTOPIA", the biggest and most unique social experiment, is not a joke. If the participants are after prizes and fun, "UTOPIA" is not for them. If they want to learn and use their strengths to make a difference in a 'new' society, then "UTOPIA" is the right show. Every month three counterproductive participants will have to leave the group and go back to their old life.
"If you could restart the world, what would you do differently?" is the main question the participants will have to answer. Their beliefs will be challenged. Questions concerning sex, religion, politics, God and values will go over a fine-tooth comb. How will their new society run and who will run it? What 'rules' will the participants come up with. Will their new society be ideal or chaotic?
So how do you really survive in "UTOPIA"? Be Indispensable!
Fox started their "UTOPIA" series in September 7, 2014. John de Mol, the creator of 'Big Brother and 'The Voice' programs, started this one of a kind reality program. It is executive produced by Conrad Green.
UTOPIA Update: The show is now on its seventh week, according to Wikipedia. The UTOPIA society rejected a political analyst and an animal rescuer. The also banished a handyman while an unemployed and a pastor left voluntarily.
Viewers can catch "Week 7 and 8 in Utopia" on October 31 , 2014.
