The Mentalist Season 7 Spoilers and Alerts: Do we See Lisbon Walking Down the Aisle While Jane Waits for her at the Altar?

The announcement that The Mentalist season 7 as the final season, had saddened a lot of fans. So the show's creator are putting in a lot of spice for the upcoming season that will start airing by January 2015, according to Tim Kang, who plays Kimball Cho, as noted by Air Herald.

From Seasons 1 to 6, Patrick Jane gambles and is obsessed in finding Red John and Red was finally put to an end in the last season. There are speculations that since Red John is out of the scene, would Season 6 be the final season?

Well, not really, as the show had been greenlighted for a final season. This time it will tackle more on the romantic relationship of the two protagonists Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon. If one can recall, Jane professes his love for Lisbon at the end of Season 6, but complications arise because Lisbon is engaged to another man. But then again, she breaks off the engagement to possibly give way to Jane, whom she had feelings for sure for so many years together. Why else would Lisbon call off the engagement upon Jane's admission of his love to her? 'Nuff said.

The Mentalist Season 7 will only have 13 episodes compared to the regular 22-23 episodes per season. The couple-to-be will be in a lot of struggles with regards to their relationship and this is what fans gets excited about.

We are pretty excited and somewhat saddened by the final season, but definitely the show would be able to give a last hurrah and a bang when it returns.
