Dead Body of 'Django Unchained' Actress Misty Upham Found near White River: Identity Confirmed
The police have confirmed that they have found the dead body of the actress Misty Upham, who had been missing since Oct 6. She was 32 years old and had been suffering from anxiety and bipolar disorder. Misty had recently shifted to Seattle to look after her ailing father, who had suffered a stroke.
However, as the 'First Nations' actress had stopped taking medication for her ailments, so her family was concerned about her mental state and they had also informed the police authorities about her sucidical condition on Oct 5, and the very next day they reported that she was missing.
A family friend found the body adjacent to a ravine, White River on Thursday according to CBC News. Steve Stocker, who is a police spokesperson also revealed that some personal belongings were also found near the body and they were identified to be of Misty Upham. He also added that he didn't believe that there was any foul play at hand.
The body was handed over to the medical examiner and later the identity of the body was confirmed according to Hollywood Reporter.
The Montana born actress was very fond of acting and the theatre. Her family relocated to Seattle when she was only 8 years old and since then she was carrying the dream of being an actress and a star!
The August: Osage County, Frozen River actress was dealing with a lot of issues since getting her medication changed. She was battling panic attacks and was constantly depressed. Her father Charles Upham revealed the news to the authorities about her mental state and medical condition. In view of the information, the authorities suspect that she committed suicide and have totally ruled out any foul play in the matter of her death.
It also ought to be mentioned that the local police authorities have landed at her doorstep four times in the recent past due to suicide calls. Hence the authorities are not surprised at the death.
Being a father, Charles is very emotional and on the contrary he feels that she didn't commit suicide and instead got hurt by someone.
