'Blue Bloods' Season 5 Episode 4 Latest News, Updates, Spoilers: 'Excessive Force'; An 'Overkill' for Donnie Wahlberg's Danny
Police brutality is the central theme for the fourth episode of "Blue Bloods" TV series. Fittingly called "Excessive Force," the story will gyre around Daniel Reagan or Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), a savvy New York detective, who overkill his target for truth and justice. Unfortunately, Danny gets slap with extreme force or police brutality charges.
This big development will not just affect Danny, but his whole family particularly his dad Frank or Police Commissioner Francis Reagan. Frank must make a tough choice - family or career and power? How will Frank deal with a delicate and serious situation?
Meanwhile, viewers will witness a love angle blossoming with some of the characters in "Blue Bloods." In the same episode, we will see Office Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) unsuccessful hide the' green-eyed monster' when her partner Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) tries to get to know Dr. Jennifer Bennet (Sofia Regan) in a hospital. Jamie brought in a homeless person (Jon David Casey) to the emergency room thus meeting the good-looking doctor. Will "Blue Bloods" writers create a 'love is in the air' slant or a 'love-triangle' twist?
Other regular cast members will also appear in the "Excessive Force" episode of "Blue Bloods". Actress Bridget Moynahan is Manhattan assistant district attorney Erin Reagan; Len Cariou is Henry Reagan, former Police Commissioner; Amy Carlson plays Linda Reagan, devoted wife of Danny; and Sami Gayle plays Nicky Reagan Boyle, the loving daughter of Erin who also wants to join the police force.
Guest star for the episode are Jessy Lincoln as Mitchell Mack; Anthony Fazio as junkie Willie; Justin Adams as cop in bar; Glenn Quentin as Guy in Alley; Elliot Santiago as the cashier and Fredic Lehne as Lieutenant Trumball.
After the intriguing admission of Detective Alex Fuentes (Frank Pando) that he is bisexual in episode 3 "Burning Bridges," "Blue Bloods" TV series followers should bear witness to Episode 4 "Excessive Force" on Oct. 17, Friday. Brian Burns wrote the episode screenplay; under the directorship of Alex Chapple.
"Blue Bloods" creators are Mitchell Burgess and Robin Green under CBS Television. The TV program is in on its 92nd episode.
