'Jurassic Park 4' News: Rambling the World Again in 2015
After leaving the fans wanting more for more than 14 years, the next Jurassic Park movie, named as "Jurassic World" is set to release on June 12, 2015. It is being treated as a direct sequel to past movies shown a couple of years back.
The cast is, somehow, being overhauled as to give the franchise a refresh. One of the main characters is played by Chris Pratt, who we all know as "Star-Lord" from the successful Marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy. Chris is also known for "Delivery Man" with Vince Vaughn. He will play a role as a rugged, ex-military guy who will spring into action when, undoubtedly, things go wrong with the dinosaurs. Alongside with Pratt is another big celebrity. Bryce Dallas Howard. Bryce is known for her roles in the Twilight Saga series and the ever-famous "Terminator: Salvation." She will play as a scientist who will possibly fiddle with dinosaurs again.
It's a tradition of the Jurassic Park franchise to include lead child actors and actresses as well. Nick Robinson, known for "The Kings of Summer," and Ty Simpkins, who played as a young genius in "Iron Man 3," will be at Jurassic World as well.
Not only the cast, but also the director's chair has also undergone a change. Spielberg will not be directing this time. Instead, an upcoming director, Colin Trevorrow will take the direction of the movie. The script is written also by Trevorrow and Derek Conolly. The duo is also credited for the indie film flick, Safety Not Guaranteed, back in 2012.
The story is said to be set 22 years after the original incident of the Jurassic Park. This means that the "Jurassic World" is not a reboot, but a sequel and a continuation of the original story.
The casting seems good, Chris Pratt is a good choice as he is a really big star now in Hollywood. The only concern fans and movie critics may have is the direction of Jurassic World and the story or plot that will be told. Can the new director and the cast bring the same fame and quality the original movie delivered? We will know in a few more months.
