'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' star Penelope Cruz named as the 'Sexiest woman alive' by Esquire Magazine
The sultry "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" star Penelope Cruz has been named as the sexiest woman alive. She has been accorded this honor by none other than the reputed journal Esquire.
In the past, Esquire has presented this title to 10 women and they include the likes of Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson and even the newly married Angelina Jolie. So, Penelope Cruz is rubbing shoulders with some illustrious company for sure!
The Spanish actress is married to Javier Bardem and despite her hot and sultry figure, is also a mother to two children. The 40 years old Cruz and the 40 years old Javier Bardem acted together in 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' and sparks flew. They were married in 2010.
Penelope Cruz's daughter Luna was born on the 22nd of July in last year in Madrid and her son Leonardo was born 3 years ago in Los Angeles. Despite being a doting mother to her 2 children, she still manages to maintain a great figure and the latest title would certainly be a feather in her cap.
Even though she is getting a lot of attention for the same, yet she isn't apparently interested in the title and prefers her quiet life with her brood and loving husband. She is also known to keep her personal life under wraps and doesn't talk much about her husband and children. In the age of instant fame and public scrutiny, it is no surprise that the 40-years-old star prefers to keep her personal life locked away.
The past recipient of the title was Scarlett Johansson and it ought to be mentioned that she won the honor twice.
The upcoming movie of the star is going to a Spanish film, titled as "Ma-Ma". She is also going to star in "Grimsby" with accomplished actor Sacha Baron Cohen.
