'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Cast: HBO Revealed New Cast Members at Comic Con
HBO has finally introduced a series of new cast members for the forthcoming season five of the hit series titled Game of Thrones.
Majority of the new cast members are relatives of Oberyn Martell. The Fifth Estate's Alexander Siddig will be the one portraying Doran Martell, his older brother. Toby Sebastian will also play the son of Doran, Trystane Martell while Areo Hotah will be DeObia Oparei. His role is the loyal leader of the palace guard of Doran Martell.
Viewers will also meet the three daughters of Oberyn. Tyene Sand will be played by Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, Nymeria Sand will be portrayed by Jessica Henwick who is known in "North by Northamptonshire and Silk, a UK show, and Obara Sand who will be portrayed by Keisha Castle-Hughes of Whale Rider and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Obara Sand is the eldest of the bastard daughters of Oberyn.
Aimee Richardson will be replaced by Nell Tiger Free who will portray the role of Myrcella Baratheon, who is the daughter of Robert and Cersei Baratheon, even if the fans of the show can definitely guess the real identity of her father. She was engaged to Tyrstane Martell as part of political machinations during the wartime.
Jonathan Pryce, considered as the veteran of the films including "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Brazil", will play the role of The High Sparrow who is described as the pious and devout man. He will be the one who will serve the poor in the King's Landing and can offer a bit of compassion to the Westeros world.
Alexander Siddig who is known for participating in different films including "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, 24, and Da Vinci's Demons is one of the new cast members that many are excited about.
Many viewers are also looking forward for spoilers of the 'Game of Thrones' season five. Currently, its production teams are spotted filming in Croatia. There are also leaked images from the sets, which suggest that the scenes are filmed from the Meereen City.
