iPad Pro Release Date, News: The Biggest, Baddest iPad of them all will be out by October 16, Considered as the Link between the iPad and the MacBook Pro
iPad Pro updates: in response to Windows devices that offer productivity with portability, Apple will be introducing the iPad Pro at its October 16 launch event, pushing the device as the link between the iPad and the MacBook Pro.
Larger, more powerful than the iPad Mini and the iPad Air, the iPad Pro was developed for more than just consumer entertainment. Specs-wise, the iPad Pro will have an A8X processor, 2GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a split screen for multi-tasking.
Equally notable is the larger, hi-res display. iPad Pro will reportedly have a 12-inch display, at par with that of the MacBook Air.
This larger screen will mean a bigger iPad, but will still be impressively slim: expect the iPad Pro to be 7-9mm at its thinnest, tipping the scales at around 550 grams.
Industry experts expect the iPad Pro to run on iOS 8, giving it enough power to run Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Photoshop. This will make the iPad Pro a great device for creatives.
Apple will be throwing in a Touch ID fingerprint security device feature as well.
Rumors indicate additional connectivity ports, but that remains unlikely, as Apple puts a premium on wireless connectivity and a clutter-free user experience.
Watch out for more news on the iPad Pro as it is unveiled on October 16.
