HTC Desire Eye has been launched in the market now and it is creating waves. According to the news reports, specialty of this phone is the 13 megapixel front camera. This is the unique feature that none of other smart phone manufacturers have done till now. It is a boon for the selfie lovers.
Keeping their desire in mind the company had launched a phone with high resolution and 13-megapixel front camera. The camera here is accompanied by dual-LED flash. It is same as the rear camera. Company has maintained same features for both the cameras.
The front camera of HTC Desire Eye has a 20mm lens whereas the rear one has 28 mm lenses. There is another cool feature in this phone regarding the camera is that the camera is designed in such a way that stay in water up to 30 minutes where the level is one meter.
Both cameras of the phone can do the recording of 1080p@30fps video. The Desire Eye camera goes for the rating of IPX7 rating. It is same feature as HTC One E8. According to GSMArena, Desire Eye runs on 4.4 Android and carries best features than any other phone in the Desire family.
Other features apart from the camera that HTC Desire Eye possesses are 16 GB storage that can be expanded by 128 GB with the use of microSD. Dimensions of the phone are 151.7 x 73.8 x 8.5 mm. hence Desire Eye is not a very compact phone. HTC has planned to launch further new models in HTC Eye segment. Their features are yet to be rolled out.
The new HTC Desire Eye has turned out to be an upgraded version of HTC One E8. It carries lot of same features but a much better front camera and its resolution is also advanced. This phone is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core processor. There are many connectivity options as Bluetooth, micro USB2.0, Wi-Fi etc. and in weight it is lighter than One M8 with 154 gms. It also has three microphones that gives clear sound and are very handy while video calling. It does not have the metal body but the plastic frame is handy and light to carry.
