Real Housewives of Atlanta Reveals and Updates: Phaedra to Split with Nida while Nene Leakes gets Huge Raise

According to the latest rumors from Real Housewives of Atlanta, Phaedra Parks is pulling the plug on her marriage to Apollo Nida. She even retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage. Her representative Steve Honig, confirmed to E! News in a statement, Nida had checked himself into prison in order to begin an eight year long sentence. This was issued in July following his guilty plea to bank fraud and that was in May. This is the second long term prison sentence that Nida is serving 6 years between 2003  and 2009 and this was for  car theft.

The same day that Nida entered prison, Honig said in a statement on behalf of Phaedra. Parks in putting all of her energy into ensuring that her children are safe and well catered for by making decisions that are in their best interests. "This situation has put a tremendous strain on Phaedra and her family and she is working hard to bring back a sense of normalcy to everyone's lives." Before the start of Apollo's sentence, a source told E!News that he had been out parting the every night and made things quite uncomfortable for Phaedra. Her sentiments on the matter is he is not illustrating the best parental model for her kids at this time so it would be better for them to move on without them

In other news on Real Housewives of Atlanta we heard that Nene Leakes was able to secure a massive raise of about 1.5 million dollars in order to shoot the seventh season of the installment. However, Nene Leakes implied that it in fact may be even more than that. She claims "I was not offered $1.5, let's be clear, yeah, it's a lot nicer than that." However, if we were to estimate her earnings per episode we would come to the range of about 60,000 dollars per episode taking into account that there are 25 episodes per season.
