According to IBTimes, Brandon Routh would be joining the Arrow cast and he would be taking the role of Ray Palmer. The new arrival into the series and Felicity Smoak would be drawn to each other. However, in "Arrow" season 3 episode 1, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) would date Felicity and things will not go very well for Olicity. Oliver would finally confess to Felicity that he had not been in the island the entire 5 years. Spoilers revealed that there would be a lot of Hong Kong in the premiere episode.

He doesn't have any personal animus towards the Arrow. According to reports, Ra's al Ghul is said to be the 'big bad' in the 3^rd season of the series and this makes the fans wonder, 'will Malcolm Merlyn fight on Oliver's side? Or will it be a three-way battle this season?' the fans have also been wondering who will be the next villain in season 3. From Merlyn to Deathstroke to....who will be next?
