'Glee' Season 6 Update: A Big Reunion Is Coming
More fun are on their way to your TV screens because the new season of Glee will have the original cast back, and it's surely a one big reunion. The new season is a blend of new and old faces which will definitely give a big smile to all Gleeks out there.
Here are some of the cast of the new season; Brittany the cheerleader, played by Heather Morris, is confirmed to be back for Season 6. Lea Michelle, who plays fan favorite Rachel Berry, will also be returning this season. Michelle posted her photo on Twitter with co-star Morris on the set, and shared how happy she is to be working with the old gang again.
Latin Post said that the Season 6 will have juicier plots, too. Could it be a reconnection of Brittany with her ex-girlfriend Santana, played by Naya Rivera? There are reports that say the two will rekindle their old flame this season.
Who else will be coming back in the series? Well, there's Kitty Wilde that will be played by Becca Tobin. According to Bustle, Tobin will be seen again in the second episode of Season 6. "Kitty's the new head cheerleader at McKinley (naturally) and she's bitter about how Artie left things off with her after the 100th episode and graduation."
Aside from Michelle, Morris and Rivera, fans will also see Darren Criss, Diana Agron, Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Dot-Marie Jones, Matthew Morrison, Kevin McHale, Chord Overstreet, Amber Riley, and Jennsa Ushkowitz in Season 6. As for the new cast members, there will be five new additions that we have to wait. However, it still remains a secret as to who these new actors are and who their characters will be.
Filming for season 6 began last September 3, 2014, revealed the same day by co-executive producer Michael Hitchcock with a "Back to school" tweet accompanied by a photo of a first-episode call sheet; Lea Michele posted a picture of herself from the set that same day.
This will definitely be an exciting season 6 as the old gang is back. Glee premieres in Spring of 2015.
