The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers, Release Date, Cast And Sneak Peek: AMC Orders The 6th Season Of The Walking Dead Even Before The 5th Season Premieres
We have the latest for you on the spoilers, release date, cast and sneak peek of The Walking Dead season 5. Although there have been very many deaths and mutilations in AMC's "The Walking Dead," one person who has been constant has been Rick Grimes. We shall find out more about him as the AMC hit series airs its 5th season on 12th October.
This is a series which has always managed to keep the audience in suspense for the last four seasons and this is now the fifth season. In fact, according to Mercury News, AMC has just ordered a 6th season of the series. "The Walking Dead" first aired on TV in 2010 and it managed to get 5.3 million viewers. At that time, it was AMC's highest rated premiere. By the time the show aired the finale for season 4, it is said that 15.7 million viewers had tuned in to watch it. One of the questions the viewers are asking is whether more dead people will rise in the 5th season of the series. This will certainly be a very good jumping-off point. In the last season we saw Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and their friend s head towards some railroad tracks which led to the mysterious outpost of Terminus, a community which has promised to be a 'sanctuary for all.' Shortly after arrival, the survivors were captured and were imprisoned in a train boxcar.
According to Mercury News, various cast members and producers have revealed that the show will move a step higher in the upcoming season. It will be upping the ante this year in terms of blood, gore and full throttle action. Robert Kirkman, an executive producer and creator of the comic book series was recently engaged in an interview by Entertainment Weekly and he said that he isn't planning on stopping the show anytime soon.
According to Wet Paint, Lauren Cohan who takes the role of Maggie Greene talks to Entertainment Weekly and she said, "The thing I've enjoyed about this year is seeing Maggie deal with situations sort of in the steps of her father, and I think that's how we've carried on, and that's sort of how we speak on the loss of Hershel is seeing his characters through his daughters." The Walking Dead season 5 will premiere on 12th October at 9p.m. on AMC. Stay with us for more news.
