"HTC Desire Eye" Release Date, Specs, Features, Latest News: Is it going to be launched today?
HTC smartphones have world-class quality with impressive features. The last device of the company HTC One M8 is huge hit but the one and only complaint for the smartphone was the rear camera. Though the rear camera had dual 4MP camera with UltraPixels feature but still it frustrated many of the users. Now to recover from the camera issue, HTC is looking forward to release an upper mid-range phone named HTC Desire Eye or HTC One M8 eye.
The company has not declared the release date but on 8th of October the company has a press event. The events' invitation card is entitled as Double Exposure with a couple image taking selfie pictures with HTC One M8. There is speculation that HTC might announce the smartphone today and it might face the market from November.
As the phone has not been publicly announced, so only the leaked information is available. The smartphone might represent 5.2-inch giant display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The probable pixel density of the phone will be 424ppi. The display type will be capacitive touchscreen. The phone will be IPX7 certified that means it will be dust and waterproof. Its water resistant tolerance would let it sink under 1meter of water for 30 minutes.
The camera specification is pretty high with 13MP rear facing camera with features like auto focus, dual LED, geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR etc. The secondary camera might also have 13MP camera sensor to sustain the selfie trend.
HTC Desire Eye will operate on android OS v4.4.2 KitKat. The chipset will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 processor. The GPU would probably be the same as HTC One M8, which is adreno 330.
The device is expected to have 2GB of RAM with 32 GB of internal storage. Sensors like proximity, compass, gyro, and accelerometer are present in the phone. The battery capacity is average with Li-ion 2400 mAh battery. Those who are about to buy HTC One M8 can reconsider again for the upcoming HTC Desire Eye with much better photo shooting capabilities.
