Twilight Saga Short Film Release Date, Rumors And Reports: Twilight Saga To Return As A Short Film And Will Be Exclusively Shown On Facebook
We have the latest for you on the release date, rumors and reports of Twilight Saga short film. The fans of 'Twilight Saga' will be excited to know that the film is far from over, contrary to what they had expected. One of the most loved vampire stories in film and print is about to continue, on social media.
The company that built the movie, Lionsgate, Stephenie Meyer, the author of all the four novels of 'Twilight Saga' have partnered with Facebook so that they can develop 5 sets of the film which will exclusively be shown in the social media. It is reportedly said that they are looking for 5 directors for the film. A talent search will be hosted on Tongal. The talent search is titles "The Storytellers: New Voices of the Twilight Saga."
According to Christian Post, the winners will be chosen and directed by a panel which will include Meyer, "Twilight" lead actress Kristen Stewart, "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke, Kate Winslet, Octavia Spencer, Julie Bowen, film producer Cathy Schulman and "Frozen' director Jennifer Lee. Also behind the "Twilight" project is the Women of Film Organization, which is an organization that supports the women in the entertainment industry. Meyer said, "The female voice is something that has become more and more important to me as I've worked in the film industry.
Christian Post reported that although the original cast of "Twilight" will not feature in the short film series, Lionsgate said that a significant amount of money will be used in the production. Burns said, we think Facebook is a great way for us to introduce the world of "Twilight" to a whole new audience while re-energizing the existing fans. This is just a beginning- a template if you will. You can probably guess what might be coming next."
The social media is increasingly becoming a major player in the entertainment industry. Of late many have partnered with Facebook to show their films. According to manilastandardtoday, "Last week, Adam Sandler signed a four-picture deal to produce and star in four movies to be premiered on the Internet TV network. Netflix also funded Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon II: The Green Destiny, which will simultaneously debut on the service and IMAX theatres in August 2015". Stay with us for more news.
