'Alien: Isolation' Review: Silent, Overwrought, And Terrifying Game
When "Alien: Isolation"game got a lot of review scores and positive feedbacks from players and other concern groups, usually, it is a sign that there is something fascinating going on. This is a survival horror game that strives to restore the fear of H.R. Geiger and Ridley Scott's original Alien by making the player completely helpless against the irresistible force. The game is silent, on the edge, and in some case, it is really terrifying.
Game reviewers have made it all through out the game, however, it does not seem to feel that 'Alien: Isolation' was able to keep the tension. This game sits on the score of 80 on its metacritic, but the number has some negative scores.
For some, they agreed that the game is ruthless and traumatic, but they saw it as a positive game given the genre of the game. Ludwig Keitzmann the game 4 stars. For him, "Alien: Isolation" was a trauma machine masking as a video game. Only in the land of horror could seem to be a compliment, and only with horror games is worthy of tensed applause.
Generally, a range of reviews came down on whether the endless period of hiding, fear, and unpredictable shake out is a good or bad thing. Kirk Hamilton at Kotaku like the said game, but acknowledges that for some it might not work. Regardless of how the game will happen, the alien will possibly kill you. Sometimes. That is what the game consist of - being murdered over and over again by an eight foot-tall monster.
Indeed, you will love to hear scores and reviews with positive feedbacks. Most of the games nowadays are safe to play, but 'Alien: Isolation' is not just an ordinary game. It is unusual to leave the main action, but that's the fun thing about the game.
