Maroon 5's "Animals" Music Video: Shocking story-line and video
Maroon 5 has released its video 'Animal' early this week. It has shocked the fans and the music lovers. The story line and the lyrics are very weird and creepy. The music video is getting lot of condemnation from people and the sexual assault support groups.
The video features Adam Levine and his wedded wife. He is shown as a butcher who starts stalking a woman after she has visited his shop. He starts fantasizing about her. He follows her everywhere, in streets, in parties, even at her home in her bedroom. He clicks her photographs and collects at his shop. He hangs her photographs all over and observes them minutely.
The video turns ugly when they show the connection with Satanism. There is lot of online opposition for the featuring of this video. The protagonist and the singer consider his female fantasy as his prey. He dances and sings around the meat and corpse of animals. The video compares the corpse as the girl. Finally the video shows the lead pair having sex together. The weirdest thing is blood bath and sex. Though some people agree that according to satanic views these two things go hand in hand but it does look gloomy and miserable.
The video is creating negative impact according to some reports. RAINN (Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network) has come up condemning the video. They have disapproved the theme of the video. Any one is open to file a complaint against the Maroon 5 group.
However, there is another group of people who are very neutral over the hue and cry. They claim that when so filthier is shown on TV and movies why to blame a five-minute music video. There does not seem any need to make so much fuss over the trivial thing.
The viewers and fans have swept the music video online posting several comments in few days of its release. Many fans have posted to make a clean video. Some of them have posted saying that video is being watched by kids too hence it gets very uncomfortable.
