"Fantastic Four" is coming to town and it's going to be something different. From the cast to the costume - fans can definitely expect something different from "Fantastic Four" reboot.
Miles Teller is going to play the lead role of Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic. Here's what he has to say about "Fantastic Four" reboot, "It's different in every way. All those actors were a lot older, their characters were in different places."
A lot is riding on the success of "Fantastic Four" reboot for Teller - it can make him a household name or not. Michael B. Jordan is going to play the role of Human Torch.
Jordan said, "It's a new look. We are all in containment suits. ... It's gritty. It's a gritty film." Jordan also said that fans can relate to the film because it is basically an "origin story." The movie will show them discovering their special abilities and will give the audience a chance to grow with the characters in the film.
Kate Mara will play the role of Susan Storm, also known as, the Invisible Woman. The actress revealed that she did get into shape to prepare for the film. She also said that she's planning to read comic books to learn more about the role and "Fantastic Four," but director Josh Trank said that it's not necessary because the film is not base on the comic books. Mara said that she did her best to try and make her character realistic and relatable.
Jamie Bell is going to play the role of Reed's best friend, Ben Grimm or The Thing. Photos have been leaked of the possible "new look" for the thing, Blastr reports.
The filming of "Fantastic Four" wraps up last August and the cast and crew remains tight-lipped about the details of the film. Not much is known about the plot of the film and who's the big, bad villain in the film.
According to Movie Pilot, "Fantastic Four" is set for release in August 7, 2015 and it looks like the creators of the film are optimistic about the project. There's a rumored sequel to the film to be released on July 14, 2017.
