"Orange is the New Black" Season 3 Latest Update: New Correction's Officer In Exchange of George "Pornstache" Mendez at Litchfield Penitentiary Revealed
It is known that Marsha Stephanie Blake is the new addition to "Orange is the New Black" Season 3 casts. She is tasked to play the role of being the new correction officer of Litchfield Penitentiary. Based on the reports, Blake's name in the show is Birdie and will take the position of George "Pornstache" Mendez since he was arrested during the Season 2 due to the allegations about having sex with Daya, one of the inmates who got pregnant. He was sent to jail because of this.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Blake has this recurring role, but details about Blake's character here are not yet revealed. That's one of the many things that fans are waiting and excited about. As previously reported "Pornstache" will not anymore included in Season 3. This is because of the fact that Pablo Schreiber as "Pornstache" will be having a leading role in "The Brink" at HBO. Eventhough Pornstache exits, Mary Steensburgen is tasked to play Pornstache's mother in Season 3.
According to The Christian Post, "... his [Pornstache] mother is making an appearance on Season 3. Mary Steenburgen has been cast as my mom. I'm not sure what she'll do that will advance the Pornstache plotline, but for now, Mendez is in prison, biding his time. Spoiler alert!"
Aside from Steenburgen, Blair Brown and Mike Birbiglia will also join the casts of "Orange is the New Black" Season 3. In addition to this, Laura Prepon is coming back as regular's cast. Prepon already confirmed about her character as Alex Vause and she will be seen in all of the episodes of the coming season. Although, Vause might end up in jail once more. During the last season, Vause's was caught up by patrol officer pointing him a gun.
"Orange is the New Black" Season 3 date of release date will be on June 2015. Jenji Kohan is the creator of "Orange is the New Black" Season 3 drama comedy.
