'The Newsroom' Season 3 HBO Release Date, New Trailer Released For Final Season Staring Olivia Munn & Jeff Daniels, Watch Here (VIDEO)

"The Newsroom" Season 3 has released their latest trailer for the upcoming season and it focuses on the Boston Marathon Bombings and NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. "It's all been leading up to this. Watch a trailer for the final episodes of #TheNewsroom," star Olivia Munn tweeted about the trailer.

"The Newsroom" final season will be premiering on November 9th on HBO. 

"The Newsroom" was created by Aaron Sorkin and stars Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer, John Gallagher Jr., Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Dev Patel, Olivia Munn and Sam Waterston. 

Series overview: The series is set behind the scenes at the fictional Atlantis Cable News (ACN) and centers around anchor Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels), who, together with his staff, sets out to put on a news show "in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles and their own personal entanglements". On the show his executive producer is MacKenzie McHale (Emily Mortimer), newsroom staff Jim Harper (John Gallagher, Jr.), Maggie Jordan (Alison Pill), Sloan Sabbith (Olivia Munn), Neal Sampat (Dev Patel), Don Keefer (Thomas Sadoski) and the head of Atlantis Cable News (ACN), Charlie Skinner (Sam Waterston).

HBO just wrapped up the popular series "True Blood" on Sunday night and is hoping that "The Newsroom" will have a strong final season. "The Newsroom" third and final season will only have six episodes, down from 10 and 9 episodes in previous seasons. So they are sure to be six action packed episodes.
