Gotham Season 1, Updates, Latest News, Spoilers, Recap: Mooney wants to take over the mob?
So! No "Bhamm","Kapooowww","Swishhhh" yet from Batman in the dark world of Gotham. Maybe he'll come later. Or maybe not!
At least we saw how troubled Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) is! Self-mutilation? It is good he has Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) to stop him. Detective James 'Jim' Gordon (Ben Mckenzie) also cared enough to have a man-to-man talk with young Bruce. His advice? Be Batman... ooops nah ... Be Strong! Aside from that dramatic scene, let's have some juicy rundown with what happened in Gotham city.
We had a glimpse of Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) trying to butter up the head honcho of the mob -Carmine Falcone (John Doman). Falcone informed Mooney that Oswald "The Penguin" (Robin Lord Taylor) told him an interesting bit of information - that Mooney wants to take over the mob!
And talking about Oswald "The Penguin"; good old Oswald sharpened again his killing skills by killing a college student simply because the kid called him ... wait for it... a penguin! Oswald also abducted the kids' friend for some money.
Meanwhile, in the latest episode of 'Gotham' TV series- A new hero is born? Her name is Selina "Cat" Kyle (Camren Bicordova), a teenager who tried to stop an eerie couple from kidnapping kids. Child traffickers Patty (Lily Taylor) and Doug (Frank Whaley) were doing their dirty business when Cat caught them. Abducted herself, Selina 'Cat' slowly 'meeyawhed' her way to safety. But alas! Detective Harvey Bullock ( Donal Logue) and Detective Jim Gordon found her. What she told Jim could be just the topic in the episodes to come. Selina "Cat" Kyles knows the killer of the Wayne couple! Kapow!! Is she telling the truth?!!! We will soon find out!
What's up for Gotham city in the future? Gotham will get a new Assistant District Attorney. His name is Harvey Dent (Nicholas D' Agosto). And just so you know, he will turn into a villain - Two-Face!
Still waiting for the Cape Crusader? By this time you should know that 'Gotham' TV series is the story of Detective Jim Gordon and the gloomy villain-infested city of Gotham. So get over it!
Mr. Bruno Heller developed the 'Gotham' TV series. The program is under Warner Brothers Television.
