The Originals' season 2: Teasers Before its Premiere on Oct.6
'The Originals', the popular spin-off of 'The Vampire Diaries' which will air its season 2 on Oct.6 is set to show off some important changes. Based from Julie Plec, the show's executive producer, two new characters will be introduced.
The programs first episode lays down new developments with new storylines. According to E!, Alice Evans (Esther) and Sebastian Roche (Mikael) are line up to come back for the season's first five episodes.
E! shared that Roche said that he has a feeling that his role will evolved even his character was killed by Klaus, his own son.
Roche also added to watch out for Esther, his wife in the show, who will be returning as a 'young witch.'
'The Originals' season 2 synopsis revolves around Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) who are ready to do everything to make New Orleans a good place for their daughter, Hope. Season 1 finale ends up a hanging scene where Hope was believed to be killed.
Here are some The Originals' season 2 happenings that viewers must watch out for:
Mikael and Esther will be returning. Mikael (Sebastion Roche) will be coming back as Davina (Danielle Campbell) while his wife Esther (Alice Evans) is returning as a young witch.
Rebekah will also be returning.
New characters such as Meagan and Mary Alice are going to be introduced.
Kaleb (Daniel Sharman) will be playing opposite Davina as his love interest.
Aiden (Colin Woodell) will be portraying as a New Orleans' lieutenant who will be teaming up with the witches.
Lenore (Sonja Sohn) of "The wire" will be Klaus' new enemy.
There will be familiar faces in the flashbacks including Kole (Nathaniel Buzolic) who will be reprising his role for the new season
Earlier in August, Plec announced that there could be a possible 'crossover' in the first half of the new season. Rumors dropped the name of Nina Dobrev as the crossover' star that will be linking 'The Originals' season 2 and 'Vampire Diaries.'
Plec revealed that Dobrev will be appearing in flashback scene of episode 5. The said episode is set on Nov. 3.
