Tekken 7 Release Date, News, Reveals, Rumors and Update: First Ever Location Tests for Next Installment Carried out in Japan
From the start, the Tekken games have been about pushing the available technology in order to deliver the most satisfying visuals and this does not happen to be any different in this respect. We are not sure at the moment how far into development the game is as the developers have not provided the appropriate details as yet, though it is as good as the Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Harada revealed on social media that they are 60 percent done as concerns the graphics at least. If you remember that the Tekken games at least the ones that push for the 60 FPS as concerns the gameplay reasons, it implies the development team for Tekken intends to push the latest game with the use of Unreal's capabilities.
In fact, they may go beyond the native 1080p, at least to 4K for the arcade modes. It seems that the first ever location tests are taking place in Japan and though the live streams will not be going up until tomorrow, some players have already gotten their hands on the beta versions. Luckily, FlyingWonkey of Avoiding The Puddle is currently on social media proving information about Bandai's upcoming fighter.
There is a special treat tonight as Wonkey provided photos of the character for the game's seventh installment character select screen which illustrates Katarina's official artwork. At the same time, we get to see a screenshot of an actual match, which makes these images the first look considering the first look at the new title for the upcoming game. There is also another new fighter who is set to enter the fray for the game. It is a male fighter named Claudio and he can be seen in the official PDF providing new mechanics that were apparently released today. There are scans of the PDF showing move lists as well as the photos showing the character select screen as well as the gameplay available on the EventHubs web page for the game.
