New Android L Build LRW87D: Google Has Finally Launched Another Creation
With the Chromium issue tracker on Chromium website, Google has finally launched another creation known as Android Lemon Meringue Pie (LMP). It is identified as LRW87D, which is spotted running on the 5th generation Nexus smartphone, the "Hammerhead." It is reported that the videos are crashing on the handset while the new software build is being installed.
Myce recognized the publication LRW87D that stands for a build code to which it stands. The "L" means Lemon Meringue Pie. "R" stands for the code branch used by Google to identify where the build was made. "W87" means that the build was made on the 87th day of the third quarter of year 2014. "D" states that it was the 4th version of the operating system made that day.
"Google states on their website that the date code is not guaranteed to be the exact date at which a build was made, and it is common that minor variations added to an existing build re-use the same date code as that existing build," the Publication reveals.
As reported, the crashing video was seen in Chromium Issue Tracker and also in a YouTube video. The crashed video with build in action is pointed to a Nexus 5 where the status and navigation bar were noted. The build is said to be running on a Hammerhead gadget, which is the Nexus 5.
The new OS which was proclaimed in the I/O conference could be launched anytime soon. It could come out on Oct. 24 with HTC Nexus 9, or with Nexus 6, which could be released on Oct. 31. The release date could be any of the two dates as both of the devices are running on the software.
Though, Android Authority revealed that the final version of Android L will not be seen until Nov.1 even the fact that Google will be launching the devices in earlier dates. Android L is a promising OS that will surface fluid animations and a new interface. So far, this will be Google's most remarkable update to date.
The new OS is expected to be seen on various Android smartphones including Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, Moto G, 2nd generation Moto X, HTC One (M8), HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4 and LG latest phones.
