Fury (2014) Movie Release Date, Cast, Trailer, Updates: Brad Pitt and Shia Labeouf shine in all their glory!
Brad Pitt and Shia Labeouf - back to back to fight some more! But not with zombies or robots.
Their new film 'Fury', a war drama film, is the most talked about film this year. Rumors have it that it might be included in some film festivals. Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director and Best Film in the bag?Let's wait and see!
War. Blood. History. The three big elements in the new film 'Fury'. It is an explosive film! Literally. But aside from that, there are two big reasons why it is explosive and a unique war film.
First, the film presents the most talented and popular stars in the industry.
The movie shows the last few months of World War II in April of 1945. Tasked to invade the enemy lines, US Army Staff Sgt. Don "Wardaddy" Collier (Brad Pitt) would have to rely on his team. A deadly mission his men will have to surpass. Collier can only count on his crew - Boyd "Bible Swan, played by Shia Labeouf; Norman "Cobb" Ellison, played by Logan Lerman; Trini "Gordo" Garcia, played by Michael Pena and Grady "Coon-Ass" Travis, played by Jon Bernthal. Will they win? Better yet, will they all survive?
Second, the film 'Fury' is the first war film to use a real tank!
To make the movie authentic, they borrowed Tiger 131, the last surviving Tiger tank, from the Boyington Tank Museum. In the film, M4A3E8 Sherman tank was the name given to Tiger 131. So if you see the five popular actors seating on a tank in their promotional posters you know the story behind it.
'Fury' is Rated R by The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA). The rate was given because of violence; rude languages and unsightly images. David Ayer wrote and directed the film. 'Fury' is his second film for 2014. Production happened not just in the United States but also in the United Kingdom. The budget of the film is a whooping 80 million dollars! Worth it? We'll find out soon enough.
So if you are a big fan of Pitt and Labeouf,"Fury' is one movie you should not miss!
Feel the 'Fury' on October 17, 2014.
