On October 3, 2013, Fox Network has decided to renew one of its television series, Sleepy Hollow, for its second season.

Sleepy Hollow is an American supernatural and police drama television series, which presents a modern adaptation of the 1820 short story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, by Washington Irving

The story centers on Ichabod Crane who is brought back to life and pulled two and a half centuries through time to unfold a mystery that began way back to the founding fathers.

Sleepy Hollow cast stars Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane, 2014 Hollywood Award Nominne Nicole Beharie as Lt. Grace Abigail "Abbie" Mills, Orlando Jones as Captain Frank Irving, 2009 Award of Merit Winner Katia Winter as Katrina Crane, Lyndie Greenwood as Jennifer "Jenny" Mills, and 2011 Saturn Award Nominee John Noble as Henry Parrish and Jeremy Crane.

In Season One, we witnessed Ichabod buried alive by his son, Henry Parrish. Meanwhile, Abbie was trapped in purgatory as she gave herself as a sacrifice in order to free Ichabod's wife, Katrina. After being freed, Unfortunately, Katrina was soon seized by the headless horseman. Irving was in prison after confiding the assassinations of Father Boland and Devon Jones in order to safeguard his daughter. Jenny might be dead due to a major car wreck after an encounter with the headless horseman.

In TV Line report, executive producer and writer Mark Goffman gives a tease on what might happen in Season 2, "We're going to drop a few bombs this season with Crane and Katrina. We're going to find out a few things that neither of them could possibly be prepared for."

Goffman also hints that the second season of the series will concentrate on the romance between the Ichabod and his wife. "Their relationship is at the core of everything we do. There are going to be some real trust issues (this season)," added Goffman.

Created by 2010 George Pal Memorial Award Winners Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, the series is set in real-life Sleepy Hollow, New York.

While its first season premiered on Fox on September 16, 2013, Sleepy Hollow Season 2 had its debut last September 22, 2014. It is set to have 18 episodes.

Sleepy Hollow airs on Mondays at 9:00PM ET.
