Nexus 9 Rumors, Release Date, Tablet Specs, Features And Updates: HTC Google Nexus 9 Tablet To Be Released Together With The Launch Of A new Mobile O.S, Android L, Announced By Google
We have the latest for you on the rumors, release date, tablet specs, features and updates of Nexus 9. Google Inc. announcement of a new mobile operating system, the Android L has really got people excited and eager to experience what Android L has to offer. Despite the fact that no one knows what the L stands for, there are speculations that it may stand for "Lollipop". The release date for the software is also another issue as the company is not giving any information towards the matter but rumors are still working their charm. Many speculate that the Android L will be released alongside the new HTC Google Nexus 9 tablet.
24th October is the set date for the release of HTC Google Nexus 9 tablet. To support this claims, Paul O'Brien, one of HTC's tech developers tweeted that the HTC Google Nexus 9 tablet and the Nexus 6 also known as Nexus X smartphone would be launched on 24th October. Pending the timing of his tweet, this was a hint to Android fans that the latest version of the Android operating system would be released sooner than expected as the device is rumored to run on Android L.
This is all confusing because O'Brien's tweet came a few days after it was announced that the Nexus 9 would be launched on October 16th. In regards to Nexus 6 a.k.a Nexus X smartphone, rumors say it is set to be launched on 31st October and it is already confirmed it will come with the new Android L operating system, so that date can be ruled out as the release date for the software.
According to Android Authority, the final version of Android L won't be officially available until 1st November despite the release of Google's upcoming devices. According to these entire reports one can't be sure when to expect the new software from Google but one thing is certain, that the Android L will feature in either the HTC Google Nexus 9 phablet or in the upcoming Nexus 6 AKA Nexus X smartphone.
HTC has put claims that the new Android L update will be made available to its latest smartphones as soon as it is released. Motorola has also said that Moto G will also get the Android L update.
