Pink & City and Colour's Dallas Green Release NewDuo Album as You + Me (See Tracklist), Listen To Their First Single "Capsized" Here (VIDEO)
In a surprise pairing to many, pop star Pink, real name Alicia Moore, and folk singer Dallas Green of City and Color have paired to release a new album under the duo name You + Me.
They shared their first song with the world in the form of a lyric video also titled, "You and Me" earlier this Summer. Now the duo has released their lead single titled "Capsized" which you can listen to above.
The two singer/songwriters have been friends and have worked on music before, this is just what they figured would be a good nest step. It wasn't exactly planned out though.
Dallas shared the experience on Facebook writing, "A few months ago i headed off to California to meet up with my good friend Alecia, who you know as P!nk . i brought a guitar and a book with a few songs i'd been working on. I had no clue what would come of it, but was hoping for the best; the best being 1 song. Better than the best happened and after 2 weeks of just the two of us in the studio, we wrote and recorded a full album. I'm so proud of these songs and can't wait for you to hear them."
Their You+Me debut album will release on October 14th from RCA Records. It will include 10-tracks including the new single "You and Me".
