Microsoft's new Windows 9 OS Features, Release Date, Specs, Price: Is expected to be released in Spring 2015!
Windows 9 will probably be available to buy and use in April 2015. On 30th September Microsoft will have a seminar named as 'What's next for Windows and the enterprise' where the corporation might announce the features available in Windows 9 and the probable release date of the new operating system.
The feature of Windows 9 has already been leaked to some extent. Windows 9 will be operated in 64-bit only. User might be able to run same apps in windows phone and windows 9. User might also be able to pick Metro apps to the taskbar. Microsoft might allow provisions for running Kinect-based 3-d gestures enabled in laptops via camera. The price of the new Windows 9 hasn't been confirmed yet. Since the market has become more competitive Windows 9 will not cost much. Apple provides recent version of OS X free of cost but Microsoft will definitely put a charge. Therefore, users might have to wait a bit to discover the price.
From some leaked screenshots, it is confirmed that Windows 9 will bring back the start menu. Start bar will be located on the left side bottom of the screen where it actually was before. Therefore, those who have missed the feature will gain it again. From the start menu user can see the recently used apps list and can resume again directly from there. The interesting thing is that the apps list includes the desktop and metro apps together. There will be no need to search for separate apps. Users can customize the tiles with necessary apps selection
There would be facilities for pinned Metro apps on the start screen. So live tiles will appear such as weather, mail, calendar, news etc. and it can be customized. Like Windows 8 the tile 'My Pc' will lead the user to the file directory system.
According to Winbeta Microsoft will remove the Charms bar for PC or laptop versions. However, for tablets or smartphones it might remain the same.
