Family Guy Season 13 Episode 1 Release Date, Trailer, Online Live Stream And Spoilers: The Simpsons Are Coming To Family Guy And Will Feature In A Crossover In Episode One Of Family Guy Season 13
We have the latest for you on the episode 1 release date, trailer, online live stream and spoilers of Family Guy season 13. The rumors and speculations are true. The Simpsons are indeed coming to family guy and will feature in a crossover in the premiere episode of Family Guy season 13. 'The Simpson Guy', the title of the Pilot episode is a highly anticipated add to the animated franchise as many wonder how the Simpsons (Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa) will interact with the Family Guy's family (Peter, Lois, Meg and Stewie).
In an interview, the Executive Producer Steve Callahan spoke to Entertainment weekly and spilled some information on what is to be expected in the Pilot episode i.e. 'The Simpsons Guy' (spoiler alerts).
"I hope it entertains people for an hour and I hope it puts to rest rumors that there's a big feud between us and 'The Simpsons'. It's a 'Family Guy' episode and not a 'Simpsons' episode and I think it does have a little more of a 'Family Guy' feel to it," said Callahan. Richard Appel, 'Family guy's' co-show runner and executive producer also spoke about how they got together with the 'Simpsons' creator Matt Groening and Executive producers James L. Brooks and Al Jean to plot the pilot episode where each would feature and all are eagerly anticipating to see what their collaboration produced because all that matters is how the general public (fans) will view it. They hope ratings will go up for both the 'Simpsons' and 'Family Guy'.
"From the start, Al and Jim and Matt were on board with it beginning an episode of 'Family Guy' with the condition 'Do us proud, please don't kill Marge and let us read the script.'" Said Appel.
"We said to Jim and Al and Matt, 'It's not our idea to do something that you'd be watching for the first time when it airs and say, 'what have we done?' We want it to be something you'll also like,'" Appel added.
Rumors say that the episode will see Stewie skateboarding and making friends with Bart; on the other hand, Meg will get some lessons in self confidence from Lisa. Merge and Lois will do some motherly bonding while Peter and Homer will do what they do best and that's make a fool of themselves as there will be a 'Nuclear chicken fight' between them that will last seven minutes.
'The Simpsons Guy' will air on Fox when season 13 of 'Family Guy' premieres in a one hour long episode on September 28th at 9 p.m.
