'The Newsroom' Season 3 Spoilers: What's in Store for the Final Season?
HBO is already giving bits of information as well as a deeper, inside look with the new episodes as TV hit series "The Newsroom" is returning in November for its final season. In an effort to get the fans exited for the season premiere, the network has released a short trailer for the fans. The thing about this teaser video is that it is unique from most trailers you can find today.
The video did not have any characters from the show. It did not depict a scene that fans can look forward to. But what the video does is present a photocopier reproducing documents which appears to be the script itself of the episodes in the upcoming season. When watching the video fans should be sharp in picking up some meaty lines to get an idea of what is about to unfold come November. The events in the season three, as far as what the video shows, is centered in Will having legal troubles. The video also suggest that Will would eventually leave CAN. This can be seen in one of his lines highlighted in the video. He said "Well, I think it's time for me to quit." This will be followed by probably a title of one episode. It reads "Fade to Black." At the end of the video, the title page of the script was shown with the name Aaron Sorkin creator of "The Newsroom", "The West Wing" and "Social Network."
season 2 ended with the outcome of the Genoa debacle still bothering the CAN crew. Reese and his mother decided to face this problem together so they did not accept the resignation of Mac, Charlie and Will. In the end, most issues were fixed and the season seemed to end in a happy note.
It would appear however that these would just be temporary as the trailer suggests. The Genoa problem still remains unsolved and would potentially be the cause of the legal troubles that Will would be facing. Could this be the trouble that would eventually push him to leave? This would be answered come season three. November is not that long.
