'GTA5' for PC, PS4, and Xbox One Rumors: Rockstar Announces Enhancements and Release Date for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, Enhancements, Cash Bonus
Grand Theft Auto V (GTA5) is an open world, third-person perspective action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. The game storyline primarily revolves on following three criminals and their attempts to commit attacks while being pressured by a government agency. Since Grand Theft Auto IV last 2008, GTA5 serves as the first entry in the Grand Theft Auto Series.
The video game was released last 17 September 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This year, GTA5 is set to be released on 18 November 2014 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and 27 January 2015 for PC.
GTA is also accessible online, thus Grand Theft Auto Online. This is the online mode, which is in multiplayer settings. The GTA Online is able to support up to 30 players who will immerse themselves in the open world and get involved in both cooperative and competitive matches.
The game is set in the fictional location of San Andreas, which is based on Southern California.
Players accomplish missions with a list of objectives in order to progress in the game. Outside the missions, players can freely roam San Andreas, extending into an open countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos, which is based on Los Angeles. Navigation is done by walking or by vehicle.
Throughout the single-player mode, players manipulate the lead protagonist triad. Players can switch among them in and out of the mission.
Rumors on GTA5 are the improvements such as new weapons, vehicles, and missions. There will also be new wildlife, a heavier traffic, and a new foliage system. Enhanced damage will also be noticed as well as increased evidence of weather effects.
Rockstar also says that, "All players who pre-order the game will get $1,000,000 in-game bonus cash to spend across Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online."
After its announcement last October 2011, Grand Theft Auto 5 became highly-anticipated. Nonetheless, the game received various feedbacks. Its multiple protagonist design, freely-ended gameplay, and major technical improvements were some elements commended by many gamers and reviewers. Scenes involving torture plus the game's treatment of women were addressed by game critics. Some considered the game as violent.
GTA5 beat sales records of the industry and rose into the fastest-selling entertainment product in the gaming and entertainment history. It earned US $800 million in its debut and reached US $1 billion in three days. More than that, GTA5 has won awards such as Game of the Year awards from various gaming publictions.
