Penny Dreadful Season 2 Spoilers: British-American Horror Television Series is Returning to Showtime for a Second Season!

Showtime recently renewed British-American television series Penny Dreadful on June 4 of this year for a 2^nd Season expected to premiere by next year 2015!

The television show is known as a gothic horror television series created and written by Oscar nominated Screen Writer John Logan who was said to have already begun writing for the upcoming Season.

The horror television series first premiered at the South by Southwest film festival on March 9 and later began airing on Showtime on April 28.

It is being executive produced by Creator of the show John Logan alongside Sam Mendes; both are known to have worked on the 23^rd James Bond movie titled Skyfall that was released in 2012.

The shooting of the series is taking place in Ireland.

Main Characters of the horror television series include, Actor Reeve Carney portraying a fictional character named Dorian Gray who is a confident yet a lonely man.

Actor Timothy is portraying Sir Malcolm Murray who is an explorer and is in search of his kidnapped daughter named Mina.

French Actress and Model Eva Green is portraying Vanessa Ives. She is said to be an enigmatic lady.

English Actor Rory Kinnear is portraying Caliban, a corpse that was brought back to life but was later abandoned by his creator Frankenstein.
