The Flash CW TV Series Trailer, Pilot, Premiere Date And Latest Updates: The Executive Producer, Andrew Kreisberg, Comments On Some Key Differences Between Arrow And The Spin-Off Flash
We have the latest for you on the trailer, pilot, premiere date and latest updates of The Flash CW TV series. 'The Flash' is an upcoming television series which has been developed by Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns and Andrew Kreisberg. The new television series will hit your screens on 7th October later in the year. The upcoming series is based on a DC Comics superhero Flash and it will be portrayed by Grant Gustin.
The show is about a Central City assistant police forensic investigator, Barry Allen, who has a troubled past. As a child, he witnessed the murder of his mother and to make things worse, his father was wrongly accused. With no parents to live with, Barry is taken in by Detective West and his family. As he entered adulthood, he became a brilliant forensic scientist but he was very awkward socially. With the obsession of his mother's murder, he goes to Harrison Well's particle accelerator. At the accelerator, there is an explosion and Barry is struck by lightning which causes him to go into a coma. When he finally regains consciousness, he realizes that he has gained the ability to move at super human's speed, and this is where Flash is born. With the help of some of his friends who knows his secret, he uses his super powers to protect the city against criminals.
The upcoming series, Flash, is a spin-off of the CW series, Arrow. Grant appeared in two episodes of Arrow last November as Barry Allen, who would become The Flash. Meanwhile, Stephen, a character in The Flash, can be seen in the trailer that was released in May. He appears before Barry Allen who is self-doubting and asks him, 'What if I'm not a hero? What if I'm just some guy who was struck by lightning?' Arrow also known as Oliver Queen, responds, 'I don't think that bolt of lightning struck you Barry. I think it chose you because you can inspire people watching over your city like a guardian angel, making a difference, saving people in a Flash.'
The executive producer, Andrew Kreisberg, commented on some key differences between Arrow and the spin-off Flash. He said, "With Arrow, there are only so many things the villains can do. They're either out to kill somebody for revenge, or they're out to rob a bank. But with Flash, because these villains have super powers, hopefully the villain-of-the-week aspect will become stronger." Flash is out to protect the city. Stay with us for more news.
