Dying Light Release Date, News, Reveals, Rumors, Plot and Updates: New Gameplay Settings Revealed for Upcoming Game
Dying Light is a first person shooter survival game that is set in a vast and dangerous world. The developers, Techland have matched the game graphics to the next generation consoles which are coming out including the X Box One and PS4. Apparently, the game is scheduled to come out in February 2015 released on X Box One, PS4, PS3, X Box 360 as well as PC modes. The game play provides that during the day the players are supposed to traverse an expansive urban environment which has been overrun by a zombie outbreak one should scavenge for supplies and craft weapons in order to defend against the growing infected population.
In the day things are easier because of the light and all angles of approach are monitored more or less, but at night things are different. For one, the infected become more aggressive and thus much more dangerous. According to the Techland development team, "In daylight you explore the city searching for supplies and weapons. After nightfall, though, this infected world undergoes a dramatic transformation that gives the game-play a new dimension."
One of the new game-play aspects that have been employed for the game this time include Free Running Movement which allows the player to navigate the world by seamlessly leaping between buildings, grappling the walls and pouncing on unsuspecting enemies. The game-play allows one to fight and move seamlessly or even fight with a weapon in each hand. As for the multiplayer aspect, it has been announced for up to 4 players in the co-op mode. As such, it has been confirmed that the game is going to offer an asymmetric multiplayer. This is a form of multiplayer setting in the games where the multiple players can play the same game simultaneously in different ways. In this way, it is going to incorporate the level of multiplayer that one is used to but will incorporates a few changes all the same.
