Thor 3 Release Date, News, Reveals, Rumors, Spoilers and Plot Updates: 3^RD Movie to be Hemsworth's Last as Thor after Battle with Loki

Thor 3 is definitely going to happen, that we know, however, the plot of the movie is in question and there are different trajectories that have been projected. The Thor franchise has been one of the more successful from Marvel and the third installment is going to bring a few changes, at least from the latest reports on what is going to happen this installment. According to the Inquisitor, this is going to be Chris Hemworth's last movie as Thor because of the reports that a female version of Thor is supposed to take his place. The release date for the movie has been pegged for either May of 2016 or May of 2017 depending on how smoothly the production schedule goes in relation to the release of other Marvel franchises in the time between now and then.

In this case, the only worth the position according to the way the way the franchise has played out in relation to other series like Agents of Shield, Sif may very well take the position of Thor after the movie, being one of his most loyal warriors. The title of the Third installment is titled Ragnarok which means Armageddon. The earth has been threatened too many times for us to take it seriously in this case, so it could only mean the end of Asgard which is a plot that it very plausible. After the last installment, we saw Loki trick his way on to throne, but what we did not see is where Odin is in all of this if Loki is on the throne. My guess is that Loki imprisoned him somewhere and he is not happy that Thor did not assume the throne and he has doubts over whether Thor is still worthy of his hammer because of the love of a woman.

According to the latest reports, the third installment will see Loki and the fire demon Sutur march upon Asgard. Apparently, Thor is going to have his last conflict with Loki whereupon he will rip his head off, defeat the fire demon and lose the hammer.
