Family Guy Season 13: Watch Peter and Homer Beat Each Other in Special Premiere Crossover Episode "The Simpsons Guy" this Sunday on FOX

Your favorite Family Guy is finally returning on FOX for a season 13 this Sunday, and the premiere episode will be a special crossover with The Simpsons. The special episode will be directed by Peter Shin, and written by Patrick Meighan.

The hour-long premiere episode, "The Simpsons Guy", will have five guest stars from the original voice actors of "The Simpsons", and a special appearance by Bob Belcher of "Bob's Burgers".

In the special episode, you'll see Peter fighting with Homer, trying to battle over which beer is the best: Duff or Pawtucket. You'll also see Bart teaching Stewie how to do skateboards and pranks. Marge and Lois will naturally bond over as they relate to having idiot husbands. Lisa, on the other hand, will be jealous that Meg is also as good at playing saxophone as she is. All of this happens when the two families meet at Springfield during a road trip.

Creator of "Family Guy", Seth MacFarlane, shared his insight on the upcoming crossover episode in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "it's really about the character interaction. People want to see Peter interact with Homer. They want to see Bart interact with Stewie. In a way, the story in a crossover episode, while it has to be there, is never quite as important as how the characters interact with each other".

Matt Groening, the co-creator of "The Simpsons", added, "In this case, it's two really vivid shows and seeing what they can do together. You want to see them having a good time and you want to see Peter Griffin and Homer Simpson duke it out".

The new season 13 will have other guest stars including Liam Neeson, Julie Bowen, Lea Thompson, Allison Janney and Connie Britton, and you'll see Peter beating up character Liam Neeson in the episode "Kicking Arse".

The special premiere crossover episode of Family Guy season 13, "The Simpsons Guy", will air this Sunday at 9PM on FOX.
