Terror Group ISIS Recruiting the Youth through a Video Game which Looks Like a Different Version of Grand Theft Auto
The terrorist group called ISIS, which has been making headlines today, has just released a teaser video for the video game that they are about to make. It is not your ordinary video game. It is actually one that encourages the youth to join their army. The three-minute teaser that was posted on YouTube shows a Grand Theft Auto kind of game, which is smart of them, because the youth can easily relate; but hopefully it won't appeal to them.
The video starts out with opening lines that read, "your games which are producing from you, we do the same actions in the battlefield." It is sort of a way of telling kids that the video games they are fond of playing at home, they can actually do in real life. The ISIS has an obvious intention of luring in players who are naïve enough to join them. The video continues on by showing scenes of the gameplay. You will see snipers killing policemen, lots of explosions and shooting. Basically, a lot of killing.
This is not the first time that ISIS has turned to modern technology to get people to get their message. Videos have been leaking in the Internet of their hostages being beheaded. Not only that, they have also posted several tweets and videos. All of these are part of their propaganda machine that leads to their goal of a violent pursuit to launch a Muslim caliphate.
Who knows what these guys will do next?
