Married TV Show News: Married Most Likely to be Cancelled?
With the season finale of Married, it would seem that there is the big question - will Married be renewed for a second season or not?
The Married TV series revolves around the story of a married couple who loves one another without a doubt, however, their life is being complicated with the fact that they feel stuck and unhappy about everything. The romantic comedy series stars Nat Faxon, who plays Russ, Judy Greer, who plays Lina, Jenny Slate, who portrays Jess, Paul Reiser, who plays Shep, and Brett Gelman, who plays A.J.
The series premiered in mid-July and had a mediocre viewership and was greeted with a slow decline in ratings over the following weeks, with its lowest a few weeks before its finale. However, what's so lucky about it is that it did not fare too badly compared to "You're the Worst" nor does it seem as the worst-rated comedy on FX. But despite that slightly positive remark, its numbers doesn't seem to guarantee that the Married series will have a succeeding season.
Some have seen Married as a promising series that deserves to have a season two, reasoning that the show's in-house jokes and scenarios are things that couples all over could relate, much more to scenarios on Russ and Jess' married life problems which are common problems in couples today.
However, only the network can tell if Married will truly be cancelled or not.
