According to the reports, innocent Caroline is dead. The latest spoilers from the Vampire house indicate the presence of new casts in the next season.

Based on the promotional posters, fans may also witness the romance of Stefan and Elena. The posters showed them holding hands. The Vampire Diaries" season 5 was enriched with the rekindling of the romance between Stefan and Elena, even if there were conflicts and misunderstandings. In the new season, fans can expect a harmonious love of the pair as the poster implies. On the other hand, Stefan and Caroline did share a steamy kiss on the last season. How this can affect the romance of Stefan and Elena is what viewers should watch out for. Fans of the romance between Stefan and Elena should be happy that there is a rumor that Caroline will exit on this upcoming season, as Christian Today reported.

Of course, romance just might something Stefan not be intested in on this season, be it with Elena or with Christina. Stefan is said to be in the midst of grieving the vanishing of his brother. "The Vampire Diaries" season 6 episode 1 is named "I'll Remember".
